LOVELAND, OH -- The CancerFree KIDS 100 Mile Challenge presented by S&S Health is back for its fourth year, kicking off September 1-30, 2025 in honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

The idea is simple, but powerful: move 100 miles in 30 days and raise at least $100 to help kids facing cancer. Walk, run, cycle, swim, garden, or stretch your way to the goal - every activity, every mile and every dollar fuels innovative research that leads to gentler, more effective treatments for kids. Along the way, participants will meet some of the incredible children whose stories inspire this movement.

Since its launch in 2021, the Challenge powered research projects targeting some of the toughest pediatric cancers: high-grade gliomas, acute myeloid leukemia, juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia, osteosarcoma, and nervous system sarcomas. Eight research grants have been funded in honor of the Challenge, and the 2022 grants alone have already attracted more than $700,000 in subsequent funding.

Registration is $25 and comes with a 100 Mile Challenge t-shirt, fundraising page, engagement activities all month long and a finisher’s medal upon conquering the Challenge. Every step you take moves science forward.

Sign up solo, rally friends for a Community Team, or compete with colleagues in the Corporate Competition. The winning community team and three winning corporate teams will have a 2025 CancerFree KIDS research grant named in their honor.
