A new tradition started for Kings High School Seniors this year. They were given the opportunity to paint their parking spaces in the KHS parking lot.
This is a common practice among area high schools.This year's senior class presented a proposal to the KHS Administration to create a fundraiser in exchange to paint their parking spaces. The money raised will be will be used by the KHS PTO for student enrichment.
Before the start of school, the Seniors could be found in the KHS parking lot taping off their designs and painting away. KHS English teacher, Katlyn Bare organized a "Best in Show Parking Spaces Competition." Top winner, Sarah Burke whose artwork is pictured, received a pair of Apple Air Pods.
