Landsman Nominates 17 Warren County High School Students To Service Academies
MASON, OH -- Congressman Greg Landsman recently visited The American Legion in Mason for a Service Academy Reception where he awarded certificates to those nominated, celebrating their progress in the process.
"Members of Congress have the privilege of nominating students to service academies," Landsman explained, adding that to be nominated students must successfully complete a rigorous application and interview process, which 27 SW Ohio high school students accomplished. And of the 27 who were nominated, 17 of the students live in Warren County.
Students who were recognized were:
"This group of young men and women are exceptional. We couldn’t be prouder of the commitment these future leaders are making to serve our country," Landsman noted.
