MASON, OH -- Sycamore Presbyterian Church (SPC) announces its 7th Outreach Day will occur on April 25, from 9 a.m. – Noon.Outreach Day at SPC is an annual event in which approximately 150 volunteers from SPC visit local non-profit organizations to provide support to them.
This year, SPC volunteers will visit and serve the Center for Respite Care, Family Promise Warren County, Habitat Restore Loveland, Matthew 25 Ministries, New Life Furniture Warehouse, A Child’s Hope International, Symmes Township (Symmes Park) and Operation Give Back in Blue Ash.
In prior years, SPC provided meal preparation, and worked on a variety of activities such as making toys for animals in shelters, stuffing appreciation bags for 911 dispatchers, preparing 3D models for the visually impaired, assembling personal care bags for local veterans, making blankets, making pillows for Fernside Center for Grieving Children, and providing landscaping at Symmes Township parks.
Last year's volunteers making gift bags for dispatchers.In addition, we will be packing approximately 500 Weekend Blessing Bags for children at Symmes Elementary School and Loveland School District who need extra food over the weekends.
"God calls us to use our gifts and talents to serve Him and our community," said Lead Pastor, Rev. Ross Reddick. "Outreach Day at Sycamore Presbyterian is an opportunity for young and old to come together and do just that; serve God by serving others.”
