MIDDLETOWN, OH -- Bishop Fenwick High School continues to transform its leadership team with the hiring of Vince Woodall as Chief Operations Officer (COO). Woodall joins Steve Strathmann, Fenwick’s first-ever President, as the local Catholic high school embraces its foundation of faith and academic excellence while charting a course toward deepened community engagement, enriched student experiences and strengthened financial stability.

With 25 years of Catholic school operations experience – most recently serving as the Deputy Superintendent for Operational Vitality, overseeing 110 schools within the Archdiocese of Cincinnati – Woodall will offer broad perspective and expertise in the areas of strategic planning, finance and budgeting, and facilities and operations. He brings both vision and discipline to Fenwick as the school seeks to enhance its position of academic distinction while leveraging the school’s deep roots and tremendous campus to increase its community impact.

“In 1952, members of the Middletown community identified the need for a Catholic high school and rolled up their sleeves to renovate a historic building, giving life to Bishop Fenwick High School,” Strathmann shared. “That energy, forward-thinking and community commitment carried the school through decades of growth and expansion, enabling us to deliver spiritual fulfillment and a quality education to students throughout Warren and Butler counties and beyond.”

Strathmann added, “I’m excited to bring fresh perspectives and ideas to the Fenwick school community and thrilled to add a talent like Vince to the school’s leadership team. We have bold goals and innovative undertakings ahead of us as our 75th anniversary approaches. Our commitment to Catholic values remains a cornerstone of our educational mission as we prepare students for success, both today and for generations to come.”

One of the first priorities for Strathmann and Woodall is bringing a new Principal on board before the start of the 2025–2026 school year. This key leader will overseecurriculum offerings to ensure students continue to receive a top-tier education and experience at Bishop Fenwick High School.
