SPRINGBORO, OH -- A recent press release from River Valley Credit Union announced the building of a brand new, state-of-the-art branch in Springboro. The new building will be located on the same lot as its current location at 25 W. Central Avenue.
The new building, which is planned to be roughly 2,490 square feet, will be equipped with Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs), providing a quick and easy way for members to make withdrawals and deposits as well as have live face-to-face interactions with tellers when needed.
“We are committed to the city of Springboro and the downtown revitalization,” said John Bowen, River Valley Credit Union CEO. “We feel that it is vital to have banking access near Springboro’s historic downtown district and look forward to launching our flagship building-design and technology in Springboro.”
“In addition to new technology, the branch will also include enhanced member amenities such as a refreshments and lounge area, outdoor patio access, and three private offices for financial advice and services,” Bowen added.
In order to ensure access to this location throughout construction, the existing lobby will remain open while a standalone drive through will be constructed during the first phase of construction, and will open for use in early fall.
Following the opening of the new drive through, demolition of the existing branch will commence during the second phase of construction in order to make way for the new building, slated for a grand opening in the first quarter of 2024.
River Valley Credit Union has been serving the financial needs of the Miami Valley since 1948. It is headquartered in Miamisburg, Ohio with branch locations in Downtown Dayton, Beavercreek, Huber Heights, Middletown, Springboro and West Carrollton.
