CLEARCREEK TOWNSHIP WARREN COUNTY OHIO -- Clearcreek Township intends to replace a culvert pipe that crosses Pekin Road from Wednesday morning, September 11th to Friday afternoon, September 13th. The location of this pipe is between street addresses 570 and 677 Pekin Road. Pekin Road will be closed at this location during the replacement.
The unposted detour route will use south on Springboro Road to east on St. Rt. 122 to north on St. Rt. 48 to east on Pekin Road for eastbound traffic, and the reverse for westbound Pekin Road traffic.
While we acknowledge that any road closure is an inconvenience, closing the road entirely instead of maintaining traffic by flagger allows for the replacement to be done in three days or less, where maintaining traffic during a project can often double the time it takes to complete.
We thank area residents and commuters for their patience and understanding and ask that you bear with us while we complete this critical infrastructure replacement.
