The 2025 Historic Preservation Awards Will Be Presented at Springboro's Council Meeting May 1

SPRINGBORO, OH -- During Springboro Council's regularly scheduled meeting for Thursday May 1, the 2025 Historic Preservation Awards will be presented. Also on the agenda for the evening meeting is: 

1. EMERGENCY ORDINANCE: FIRST READING. An ordinance approving the record plan and performance guaranty and authorizing the city manager to enter into a subdivider's contract for Wadeston Subdivision Phase 4 and declaring it an emergency.
2. RESOLUTION: A resolution approving the merger plan of the Miami Valley Communications Council.
3. RESOLUTION: A resolution authorizing the city manager to enter into an agreement with the Springboro Community School Board to provide School Resource Officer (SRO) services.
4. RESOLUTION: A resolution of intention to appropriate certain land being parcel 0415480007 in order to acquire and easement for public road purposes. 
5. RESOLUTION: A resolution authorizing the city manager to negotiate and execute an agreement to purchase certain property located at 3883 Lower Springboro Rd. from the Michael A. Alford Trust.
6. RESOLUTION: A resolution authorizing the city manager to negotiate and execute an agreement to purchase certain property located on 130 East Street from Pauline Wilson

The meeting, which begins at 7 PM, is held in the council chambers located at 320 W. Central Ave.
