A REAL ENGLISHMAN IN A REAL ENGLISH PLAY: MEET TIM LAWRENCE

SPRINGBORO, OH -- As often professional theatre goes in this area we get “English dramas” but seldom an authentic English actor in them. Tim Lawrence, who is featured in the current La Comedia production "The Play That Goes Wrong,"is just that man.

Tim, who has recently become “ a Buckeye,” has only lately come to Warren County for the past three shows at La Comedia. Born in London, England, Tim received his Trinity Diplomas from Laine Theatre Arts in Surrey, appeared in productions at the Royal Opera House, and has done short films as well as the European sit com “Socieres, Mais Pas Trop.” Many other stage credits fill his resume.

As far as Warren County is concerned, Tim says, “the area has grown on me. I love the parks and nature reserves, the stars are definitely brighter out here... KINGS ISLAND! The Children of Eden cast took a visit, and we went on every ride we could, getting considerably sunburnt along the way... Favorite ride has got to be Flight of Fear, gotta love the theatrics !”

Tim hasn’t tried Cincinnati Chili yet, so another adventure is still to come!

Another big adventure in his career is his upcoming Hollywood film, which is still “under wraps,” so no name or other info at this time.
