SPRINGBORO, OHThe Boro Education Foundation, also known as the Springboro Schools Education Foundation, proudly announces its official founding and the opening of its first teacher grant application on April 6, 2026.

Established in October 2024 by former Springboro Schools Board of Education member Charles Anderson, the Foundation was born out of his continued commitment to supporting students and strengthening educational opportunities within the community. After serving four terms on the Board, Anderson sought to further expand his impact—launching the Foundation with a personal donation of $100,000. His vision is rooted in community collaboration: bringing together parents, alumni, local businesses, and residents who share a passion for investing in the success of Springboro students.

“My hope is for this fund to continue to grow with the help of community members and local businesses to ensure that every child has access to the resources they need to succeed while in our schools,” said Anderson.

The Boro Education Foundation is dedicated to enhancing an already strong school district by funding innovative programs, expanding educational opportunities, and supporting student achievement across Springboro Schools. Its mission is clear: “To enrich public education by supporting the academic, creative, and personal growth of students and educators.”

Through grants, scholarships, classroom resources, extracurricular programs, and professional development, the Foundation works to ensure every student has the opportunity to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
