WAYNESVILLE, OH --Warren County Park District is offering a FREE PUBLIC PROGRAM this Saturday at the Fred Bay Observatory!
All ages are welcome and no reservation is required. This event is part of Green Umbrella's "Great Outdoor Weekend." This initiative provides opportunities for children and adults of all ages, communities and backgrounds to experience the best outdoor recreation and nature programs available in the Greater Cincinnati region.
- 8-9pm presentation: "How to Prepare to Observe the April 8, 2024 Solar Eclipse." Talk by faculty and staff from Wright State University.
- 9-11:30pm: Fred Bay Observatory open for night sky viewing. Bring lawn chairs. Warren County Astronomical Society members will also have telescopes and will share views with visitors.
The Fred Bay Observatory is located at beautiful Hisey Park, 5443 Middletown Rd, Waynesville, OH 45068.
