HARVEYSBURG, OH -- Residents in Harveysburg said no to an additional 3 mills for 5 years "for the benefit of Village of Harveysburg for the purpose of general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing, and repair of streets, roads, and bridges. "
While 57 of the voters were FOR the increase, 99 voters were AGAINST the additional millage.
According to the county auditor the additional millage was estimated to collect $67,250 annually, at a rate not exceeding 3 mills for each $1 of taxable value. This would have amounted to $105 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value.
Sunny, with a high of 89 and low of 59 degrees. Sunny in the morning, clear overnight.
You’re right! It was a huge slap in the face to those who live here and pay taxes to support Little Miami Schools. Thank you for This letter.
