Summer in Downtown Waynesville
WAYNESVILLE, OHIO — Main Street will come alive once again as Waynesville continues its Street Faire season on June 13th, welcoming visitors to experience the charm of this historic small town.
The Street Faire brings a rotating mix of local makers, crafters, creators, and vintage curators, each offering something unique. Booths line the street, live music and food trucks add to the atmosphere, and local shops open their doors, creating a full day of shopping and exploring.
Visitors are encouraged to take time beyond the event to enjoy downtown Waynesville’s restaurants, coffee and tea shops, and small businesses, making it easy to spend the day at a relaxed pace.
In the morning, guests can step into Waynesville’s history through the returning Underground Railroad tours, highlighting the village’s Quaker heritage and sharing stories of courage, resilience, and hope that shaped the community.
In the evening, after hours at the museum, guests are invited to a ghost hunting class, offering a different and interactive way to experience the village’s history and historic spaces after dark.
Because vendors vary throughout the season, each Street Faire offers something a little different. Follow Downtown Waynesville and the Waynesville Street Faire on Facebook for updated vendor lists and event details ahead of each date.
Headlining the June 13th Street Faire are Velvet Crush Unplugged and Maribeth Samoya, bringing live music throughout the day and setting the tone for a vibrant summer Saturday on Main Street.
With multiple dates planned, the Street Faire continues to be a tradition that brings people together while celebrating small business and local history in Waynesville.
The 2nd Saturday Street Faire season continues June 13th, July 11th, August 8th, September 12th, and a special Christmas Market on December 6th.
