Carlisle Child Airlifted to ICU After Near-Drowning in Madison Township

CARLISlE, OH -- A Carlisle family is asking for help. Last Friday (May 17, 2025) their six-year old son Xander fell into a swimming pool during a family birthday party in Madison Township. Xander, who is descirbed as a "joyful autistic boy" on a GoFundMe page was found unresponsive and airlifted to Children’s Hospital, where he remains on a ventilator in the ICU. 

Xander’s family has launched a GoFundMe to help cover emergency medical costs, lost income, and any future therapies he may need. Along with financial assistance, his family is asking for prayer for a full recovery for Xander.
