CARLISLE, OH -- Residents who live in the city of Carlisle and the Carlisle School District are preparing for their annual back to school event — Railroad Days, which runs Augut 15th and 16th this year. But before the Railroad Days Festival, residents in the Carlisle area can enjoy this Thursday, August 7, as Back to School Night at Roscoe Roof Park's Thursday Night Food Truck happening.
From 5 PM to 8 PM there will be music from DJ Dynamite, school related vendors along with food truck vendors:
The park is located at 601 Beachler Rd., in Carlisle.
Some changes have been made on the annual Railroad Day's event this year, explained city council woman Debbie Kemper.
The city of Carlisle has taken over the event, which in the past had been run by past Franklin Township Trustee Brian Morris, along with the help of other citizens in the area. And, the event has been moved back to the school grounds on the corner of Jamaica Ave and Fairview Drive, rather than the CBA Baseball fields where it had been being held the last several years.
