Mercy Health—Kings Mills Hospital Hosts Career Discovery Event for Local Students

KINGS MILLS, OH --Mercy Health—Kings Mills Hospital recently welcomed students from Little Miami High School and the Warren County Career Center’s Sports Medicine Program for an immersive, hands-on experience designed to spark interest in health care careers and showcase the hospital’s role as a leader in community engagement.

The Career Discovery Event offered students a rare behind-the-scenes look at the inner workings of a modern hospital, highlighting the wide range of clinical and non-clinical roles that keep patient care running smoothly. Students toured multiple departments and interacted directly with professionals in critical areas, including:

  • Emergency Services
  • Imaging
  • Cath Lab
  • Laboratory
  • Pharmacy
  • Physical & Occupational Therapy
  • Supply Chain
  • Respiratory Therapy
  • Surgery
  • Mission & Spiritual Health
