PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE – CAA REVISION AND DESIGNATION

LEBANON, OH -- The State of Ohio seeks to update its distribution plan of Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) funds.

To meet the requirements and to stay in compliance with Public Law 105-285, Title II, Section 676(a)(2)(B), (42 U.S.C. 9901 et seq) and Ohio Revised Code Sections 122.69 and 122.701, two consecutive public hearings will be held to:

Revise the service area and CSBG funding allocation of Miami Valley Community Action Partnership (MVCAP) and
Officially designate Warren County Community Services, Inc. (WCCS) as a Community Action Agency to receive the CSBG funding allocation and provide services in Warren County, Ohio.

The Ohio Department of Development (Development), Community Services Division, Office of Community Assistance is the designated state CSBG administering agency.

Development will host the public hearing seeking input on the proposed revision on Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2024, at 10 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. or until all testimony has been received.

Immediately following, Development will hold a second public hearing seeking input on the proposed designation.

The hearings will take place at the Warren County Administration Building – Commissioners’ Office, 406 Justice Drive, Room 350, Lebanon, OH 45036. In the case of inclement weather that causes the building to be closed on Jan. 24, 2024, the public hearings will be held on the alternate date, Friday, Jan. 26, 2024, beginning at 10 a.m.
