MAINEVILLE, OH – A grand opening and ribbon cutting celebration was held at the new Maineville McDonald’s location located on 90 Town Centre Blvd, featuring the Little Miami Marching Band.
The band not only performed at the celebration, but they were also presented with a $1,000 donation. Local officials joined owner/operator Katie Blankenship in honoring members of the band, and McDonaldland favorites Grimace and Birdie also made an appearance.
“We’re excited for the opportunity to be opening a brand-new McDonald’s for the local community,” said Blankenship, who owns and operates 6 restaurants in the Cincinnati area. “We are committed to not only continuing our legacy of involvement and support throughout the community, but to grow it as well.”
In addition to the ribbon cutting celebration, those in attendance received an insulated beverage sleeve, specifically designed to hold 30-ounce cups from McDonald’s. The sleeves are part of the Sleeves for Support Program, which provides funds and awareness for Ronald McDonald House Charities.
The new restaurant will employ over 60 individuals. It features a double lane drive thru with mobile ordering technology, and the lobby is equipped with order kiosks and the newest cooking facilities utilizing McDonald’s innovative technology to prepare Gold Standard products with quality and service being at the top of mind. LED lighting and energy efficient equipment that will reduce energy waste and minimize the carbon footprint.
