MASON, OH -- A highlight of the Veolia Atlanta PPA Championship was the unveiling of Veolia’s groundbreaking sustainable trophy. Designed with innovation and sustainability in mind, this unique award transforms waste into glory. The marble-like sheet is upcycled acrylic plastic, sourced from discarded windshields and signage.
The structure is shaped from Veolia’s logo icon, sliced at a 45-degree angle to be visible from the top and side. The three red bands represent Veolia’s capabilities of water, waste & energy management. Meanwhile, the base and logos are 3D-printed using bio-based plastic derived from corn starch. The result? A trophy that’s not only visually striking but also a true testament to sustainability and forward-thinking design.
Winners at the Veolia Cincinnati Showcase, which is currently going until the 14th, will also walk away with a Veolia Champions Sustainability trophy.
