LEBANON, OH -- Republican State Senate for District 7 candidate Zac Haines delivered what he called "a commanding victory" in his recent press release. Haines shared he earned more than 77% of the vote across Warren and Hamilton counties during last Tuesday's Primary Election.
He noted that he believes that this decisive result reflects strong grassroots support for his conservative vision focused on:
“I’m deeply grateful for the overwhelming support from voters across Warren and Hamilton counties,” said Haines. “This victory sends a clear message that our communities want strong conservative leadership focused on protecting taxpayers, growing our economy, and defending the values that make Ohio strong. I’m honored by the trust voters have placed in me, and I’m ready to take this fight to Columbus.”
Haines also noted that his victory follows a dominant primary campaign built on early momentum, broad grassroots engagement, and strong support from Republican leaders throughout the region.
"The campaign earned more than 120 endorsements and enters the general election with more than $350,000 cash on hand," he added.
Haines, who is a successful CEO and member of the Miami University Board of Trustees, explained that he has built his campaign around strengthening Ohio’s economy, supporting families and small businesses, and ensuring government remains accountable to taxpayers. He shared that his background in business and public service has positioned him as a results-driven conservative leader focused on delivering for southwest Ohio.
Haines will be running against Democrat Cara Jacob in the General Election in November. Because of Term Limits, current Republican State Senator Steve Wilson was not able to run again.
