LEBANON, OH -- Statement on the bipartisan budget agreement from Congressman Greg Landsman....
"This is as serious of a moment as it gets. We absolutely have to prevent a dangerous government shutdown that could blow up the economy and hurt millions of workers and nearly every one of our families.
This moment requires serious, bipartisan leadership.
This cannot be a moment for extremists to win out.
If they win, they shut down the government, tank the economy, and crush workers and families.
But I know there are more of us determined to govern on behalf of folks we serve than the far, far-right who only want to break things and get on TV.
The American people want us to work together and I’m all in on a bipartisan bill on investments in our economy and our families, and the same will be true on a bipartisan agreement on the national security emergency aid bill."
