LEBANON, OH -- New this year at Harmon Museum| Art, History and Culture is Harmon Arts for children ages 5 to 14. Offered on the third Saturday of each month from 1-2:30, October -May. Children will learn from museum experts as they will hear a story read aloud, enjoy a guided visit to the galleries, and create an object inspired by works in the museum collection.
Classes are $12 and Pre-registration is required to attend (click here). Children 8 and under need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The programs start at 1PM and run until 2:30PM.
The 2024 Scheduled Events that can currently be registered to attend are:
January 20
Cello Stained Glass - "Got the Winter Blues? Paint the winter sky with a colorful cellophane framed window pane. For inspiration we will visit the museum's stained glass windows, learn from a museum expert, and listen to a stained glass story in the gallery! Artwork will be exhibited, at Harmon Museum, until the next session," reads the website.
February 17 -
Vintage Valentines - "Show your love of historical style with this vintage-inspired valentine and gift your art to a loved one! Experience the museum's Victorian valentine collection while enjoying a related story," reads the programs description.
