LEBANON, OH -- Artists served by the Warren County Board of Developmental Disabilities (WCBDD) displayed their artwork at the Lebanon Festival of the Arts on June 1, 2024.

The inaugural arts festival celebrated local artists and featured fine art, photography, theater, music, dance, and other forms of art.

Over 50 pieces of art were submitted by artists with developmental disabilities, including pottery, drawings, photography, poetry and more. The art was displayed at Moldy Cheese Antiques and The Shady Dame in downtown Lebanon.

  • David Werner is an award-winning local photographer who submitted a photo of polar bears playing together.
  • Claire Ginn crafted a handmade pot.
  • Maggie “Mags” Satterthwaite submitted drawings of animals.
  • Kelley Castle submitted a piece of poetry titled, “My Natural Passion.”
  • Sienna Van Schoyck created several pieces of hand-built slab-work pottery.
  • Members of the Next Chapter Book created collage artwork.

Our community events help us to increase visibility of our agency and promote community integration for the individuals we serve. Thank you, Moldy Cheese Antiques, The Shady Dame and the Lebanon Festival of the Arts for including WCBDD in the community!
