Troopers Arrested 37 For Drugs and 13 for Illegal Weapons Violations In 6 State Trooper Project

WARREN COUNTY, OH --  Earlier this month, the Ohio State Highway Patrol and members of the 6-State Trooper Project joined together to focus on removing drugs and illegal weapons from our communities. During the project, troopers arrested 37 for drugs and 13 for illegal weapons violations.

The enforcement effort included the Indiana State Police, Kentucky State Police, Michigan State Police, Pennsylvania State Police, West Virginia State Police and Ohio State Highway Patrol. The initiative began on Thursday, March 6 and continued through Saturday, March 8.

Collectively, 343 were arrested for drugs and 78 for illegal weapons violations.

The 6-State Trooper Project is a multi-state law enforcement partnership aimed at providing combined and coordinated law enforcement and security services in the areas of highway safety, criminal patrol and intelligence sharing.
