LEBANON, OH -- BCW/Workforce is proud to announce its designation as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, a significant milestone that will enable the organization to expand its mission of addressing workforce challenges and creating economic stability for individuals and businesses in Butler, Clermont, and Warren counties.
The designation was officially granted on October 21, 2024, following an extensive application process and supplemental materials earlier in the year. This transformation to a 501(c)(3) nonprofit reflects BCW/Workforce’s commitment to addressing critical barriers that hinder workforce development, including the "benefits cliff" faced by many clients under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).
With the flexibility provided by unrestricted funding, the organization can now offer enhanced services that go beyond the limitations of WIOA funding, ensuring more comprehensive support for clients at every stage of their journey. Expanded Services for 2025 and Beyond With the new designation, BCW/Workforce has ambitious plans to deepen its impact in the community.
