[WARREN COUNTY]-- May 1, 1803, marks the anniversary of the official establishment of Warren County, Ohio, a significant development following the state’s recent admission to the Union. Named in honor of Dr. Joseph Warren, a hero of the American Revolution who perished at the Battle of Bunker Hill, the county emerges from a portion of Hamilton County, as delineated by the Ohio General Assembly’s act on March 24, 1803.
