WARREN COUNTY, OH -- All townships, city councils, village councils and school boards in Warren County have seats to be filled this November. Below is a list of the local offices that are open for candidates to apply for until August 6, 2025 and the offices that will be on the November ballot.
All township boards in Ohio have three elected township trustees and an elected fiscal officer. All are elected to serve four years. Normally, every four years, two trustees are elected in the November General Election. Then, two years later, one trustee position and a fiscal officer position are on the General Election ballot to be elected to hold office for four years.
This year, the eleven townships that make up Warren County, Ohio: Clearcreek, Deerfield, Franklin, Hamilton, Harlan, Massie, Salem, Turtlecreek, Union and Washington, will be asking their voters to elect two people to fill the two open trustee positions that are 4-year terms, starting January 1, 2026 and ending December 31, 2029.
Also, this year, both Turtlecreek Township and Wayne Township are seeking a third trustee for their boards that will serve two years of a four-year term. In both of these townships, the people currently holding this third trustee office were appointed, and by law they must run in the nearest general election after being appointed to keep that seat. These two offices start January 1, 2026 and end December 31, 2027.
The six villages in Warren County: Butlerville, Corwin, Harveysburg, Maineville, Pleasant Plain and Waynesville, all have four seats open with 4-year terms.
