Story from Haines for Ohio

LEBANON, OH — Zac Haines, a successful business leader and community advocate, has received the endorsement of former six-term Congressman Bob McEwen for Ohio’s 7th Senate District. McEwen, who proudly represented Ohio’s 6th Congressional District, praised Haines as the most principled conservative candidate in the race.

“Zac Haines is the most principled conservative in this race,” said McEwen. “As a successful CEO and business owner, Zac understands what it takes to create jobs, balance budgets, and lead with integrity. His track record of service, from being one of the youngest appointees to the Miami University Board of Trustees to his unwavering commitment to family values, demonstrates his readiness to serve our community with the same energy and conviction that have made Warren County and northeast Hamilton County strong.”

McEwen also reflected on his own time in public service, adding, “I’ve had the privilege of representing this area in Congress and on the Republican State Central Committee. Without hesitation, I can say Zac Haines is the best choice to continue this proud tradition of conservative leadership.”

Zac Haines expressed gratitude for McEwen’s support, saying, “I am deeply honored to receive the endorsement of my friend and fellow patriot, Bob McEwen. His leadership and service have set an extraordinary standard for our community. I look forward to working alongside him to strengthen the future of Warren County and beyond.”

Haines, who currently serves as CEO of DPA Buying Group, was nominated by President Donald J. Trump during his first term. He is running to succeed State Senator Steve Wilson, who is term-limited. Ohio's 7th Senate District covers all of Warren County and northeastern Hamilton County, with the election set for May 5, 2026.

Bob McEwen’s distinguished career includes not only his six terms in the U.S. House of Representatives but also three terms in the Ohio General Assembly. He currently serves as the Executive Director of the Council for National Policy and as an Advisory Council Member for Turning Point.

In addition to McEwen, Haines has earned the endorsements of several key figures, including U.S. Representative Warren Davidson, former U.S. Representatives Steve Chabot and Brad Wenstrup, Ohio State Treasurer Robert Sprague, and many elected officials across Warren and Hamilton Counties.
