MHRB looking for a new volunteer board member

This post expresses the views and opinions of the author(s) and not necessarily that of Warren County Post management or staff.

Warren or Clinton County residents who have had a family member in treatment for a mental health issue are encouraged to apply for an open position on the Board of Directors for the Mental Health Recovery Board Serving Warren & Clinton Counties.

“One of the requirements set for boards across Ohio is that they represent various constituencies in the community,” said Colleen Chamberlain, MHRB executive director. “In this case, we are looking for someone who has had a family member in treatment for mental health issues, now or in the past. It can be with one of the agencies we contract with or a private agency. The only need is for the board candidate to currently live in either Warren or Clinton County.”

The position is a four-year term and is appointed by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services. Residents who qualify can get an application at mhrbwcc.org/about-us/board-of-directors. Print and complete the form, then return it to MHRB. For more information, please call (513) 695-1695.
