CINCINNATI, OH -- Due to extreme cold and weather conditions forecast for this weekend, organizers have rescheduled the Law Enforcement Torch Run Cincinnati Polar Plunge benefiting Special Olympics Ohio. The event will now take place Saturday, March 21, at The Banks, outside Holy Grail Tavern and Grille on Freedom Way.
The decision was made out of an abundance of caution to ensure the safety of participants, volunteers, athletes, law enforcement, and spectators. All event details, including the plunge location and format, will remain the same.
The Cincinnati Polar Plunge is part of a statewide series supporting Special Olympics Ohio & Kentucky athletes and their year-round sports training, competition, leadership, and health programs at no cost to athletes or their families."
Registered participants will receive updated information directly. Registration and donations remain open here.
Patchy rain nearby, with a high of 63 and low of 45 degrees. Patchy rain nearby in the morning, cloudy during the afternoon, partly cloudy for the evening, overcast overnight.
The issue seems to be that some non citizens are added to voter roles accidentally through the DMV or other data base errors. Perhaps, if some of the states would stop issues non citizens drivers licenses we would be just fine with MORE laws on the books. Folks would probably be a lot safer on the roads too! Â
