WEST CHESTER, OH -- A group of local seniors ushered in pie baking season with a special delivery to some first responders. Residents at Liberty Place, an Anthem Memory Care community, baked pies and delivered to Liberty Fire Station #112.
“The smell of freshly, baked pies brings back happy memories for our residents,” said Amy Snow, life engagement director for Liberty Place. “Just because they have dementia doesn’t mean they can’t continue to take part in holiday traditions. It brought our residents great joy to show their thanks in person to these dedicated first responders.”
