DEERFIELD TOWNSHIP WARREN COUNTY, OH -- From Deerfield Townships Parks and Recreation Newsletter, it's time for summer camp registration. Registration opens for Deerfield Township residents on Friday, March 1, and opens to non-residents on Monday, April 1.
"Deerfield camps are a perfect, cost effective way to keep your kids entertained. We have a wide variety of camp themes that will have kids active outside and exploring all summer long. Our trained staff ensures a safe and supportive environment for each child while letting them grow through games, crafts, and social connection," the newsletter reads. Camps are broken down into four age groups, and in each age group there are different camp activities .
- Kindergarten Summer Camp consists of three camps:
- Nature Wonders,
- Splish Splash and
- Dinosaur Tracks
- 1st through 5th Grade Day Camp:
- Reptiles
- Medieval Adventures
- Treasure Island
- Kitchen Concoctions
- Wet & Wild
- Arts & Crafts
- Spy Central
- It's Science
- Sports of All Sorts
- 6th through 8th Grade Day Camp
- Game Time
- Kitchen Creativity
- Top Secret
- Doll Camp
- Back to School Doll Camp (offered twice)

Here are some helpful hints to guarantee a smooth registration process:
- Registration opens at midnight.
- Create an account on DeerfieldRec.com if you do not already have one.
- Campers grades automatically roll up on June 1st, so make sure the grade listed is the one they are currently in.
- If a camp is full, join the waiting list!
