MASON, OH-- The Sycamore Presbyterian Church (SPC) announces its 5th Outreach Day will occur on April 27, from 8 a.m. – Noon. Outreach Day at SPC is an annual event in which approximately 150 volunteers from SPC visit local non-profit organizations to provide support to them.

This year, SPC volunteers will visit Habitat Restore Loveland, Family Promise of Warren County, NEEDS Food Pantry, Blue Ash, New Life Furniture Thrift Store, Cincinnati Nature Center, Operation Give Back, Blue Ash, Heavenward Farm and Symmes Township. In prior years, SPC has provided landscaping, meal preparation, and worked on a variety of activities such as making toys for animals in shelters, stuffing appreciation bags for 911 dispatchers, preparing 3D models for the visually impaired, assembling personal care bags for local veterans, as well as other activities.

"God calls us to use our gifts and talents to serve Him and our community," said Lead Pastor, Rev. Ross Reddick. "Outreach Day at Sycamore Presbyterian is an opportunity for young and old to do just that; serve God by serving others.”

For those in the overall community who wish to support Outreach Day, SPC features a paper shredding event through the generosity of Erth System Shredding. The shredding truck will be on site at SPC from 9 a.m. until noon (or until the truck is full) and everyone is invited to bring items that need shredded.

Outreach Day will also feature a Virtual Blood Drive in conjunction with Hoxworth Blood Center April 5-May 1. Those who want to participate need to mention Sycamore Presbyterian Church or use Group Code SZM when they donate blood.
