MASON, OH -- The Sycamore Presbyterian Church (SPC) held its 5th Outreach Day April 27, where approximately 150 volunteers from SPC provided support to local non-profit organizations.
This year, SPC volunteered at Habitat Restore Loveland, Family Promise of Warren County, NEEDS Food Pantry, Blue Ash, New Life Furniture Thrift Store, Cincinnati Nature Center, Operation Give Back, Blue Ash, Heavenward Farm and Symmes Township.
"God calls us to use our gifts and talents to serve Him and our community," said Lead Pastor, Rev. Ross Reddick. "Outreach Day at Sycamore Presbyterian is an opportunity for young and old to do just that; serve God by serving others.”
SPC provided landscaping, meal preparation, and worked on a variety of activities such as stuffing appreciation bags for 911 dispatchers as well as other activities. Also to support Outreach Day, SPC featured a paper shredding event through the generosity of Erth System Shredding and a Virtual Blood Drive in conjunction with Hoxworth Blood Center April 5-May 1.
