Warren County Students Honored with Roger Grein Spirit of Philanthropy Recognition by Magnified Giving
WARREN COUNTY, OH-- Keren Palaparty, a recent graduate of Kings High School, and Patrick Keller, a rising senior at Springboro High School, have been awarded Roger Grein Spirit of Philanthropy Recognition by Magnified Giving. Palaparty and Keller are two of the nine who received this year's award.
"This award celebrates youth who embody the generous and philanthropic spirit of Roger Grein, the founder of Magnified Giving. Keren and Patrick are recognized for their outstanding commitment to service, growth through philanthropic activities, and ongoing dedication to making a positive impact in the community," noted Lindsey Barta, Director of Communications at Magnified Giving.
Magnified Giving's mission is to educate, inspire, and engage students in philanthropy, fostering a lifelong commitment to service and care for others. Throughout the school year, these students actively participated in various service projects, demonstrating exceptional leadership and compassion. They have shown remarkable personal growth and have articulated a clear plan for continuing their engagement in philanthropy, Barta added.
Keren shared, “From a mere shy teenager, I evolved into a resilient, tenacious individual and I am blessed with the opportunity.”
Patrick said, “Magnified Giving opened new horizons for me by showing how people like me can get involved in philanthropy. Philanthropy seemed like something reserved for rich adults like Bill Gates, but being able to do it myself allowed me to make a difference in a very different way than I could normally.”
