LAUGH OFF THE HEAT: THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG AT LA COMEDIA

SPRINGBORO, OH -- Sometimes you just have to get out of the house at the end of the summer and forget about the heat, work, and “back to school.” And, right now, you can enjoy a really good laugh at the current La Comedia show...The Play That Goes Wrong.

A presentation of a murder mystery “A Murder At Haversham Manor” goes from a serious topic into high comedy and chaos in a matter of seconds into the play. The play is a nonstop laugh fest. If you enjoy physical comedy and a funny script, this one is for you.

The professional cast handles both the script and the comedy action with a smooth and easy manner. Of special note is Frankie Breit (Cecil) whose comic “mimes” won over the audience immediately, Dylan Jackson (Inspector) who pulls the story together with his character questionings, Leah Faith Nickell (Florence) the female lead who is ultra dramatic in all her appearances, and Jimmy Mallas (Perkins) a butler, whose every line brings on a laugh! Also in the cast are the memorable performances of Montana Iverson (Thomas) with his good characterization, Lauren Ping (Florence 2) with her great comedic timing and Tim Lawrence (Charles) with his excellent reactions and the only REAL Englishman in the show ! The cast was completed by Max Bartel, Charmien Bird, John Ray and Justin Reilmann.
