Downtown Waynesville Prepares to Welcome Back Street Faire Season
WAYNESVILLE, OHIO — Main Street will come alive once again as Waynesville kicks off its Street Faire season on May 9, welcoming visitors to experience the charm of this historic small town.
The Street Faire brings a rotating mix of local makers, crafters, creators, and vintage curators, each offering something unique. Booths line the street, live music and food trucks add to the atmosphere, and local shops open their doors, creating a full day of shopping and exploring.
Visitors are encouraged to take time beyond the event to enjoy downtown Waynesville’s restaurants, coffee and tea shops, and small businesses, making it easy to spend the day at a relaxed pace.
Adding to the experience, guests can step into Waynesville’s history through the returning Underground Railroad tours (register here). These guided walks highlight the village’s Quaker heritage and share stories of courage, resilience, and hope that shaped the community.
Because vendors vary throughout the season, each Street Faire offers something a little different. For updated vendor lists and event maps, follow Downtown Waynesville and the Waynesville Street Faire on Facebook ahead of each event.
With multiple dates planned, the Street Faire continues to be a tradition that brings people together while celebrating small business and local history in Waynesville.
