CARLISLE, OH -- Mr. Tincher's Class and the Carlisle High School Fishing Club embarked on an exciting Field Trip on May 8 to Gardner Park in Springboro for a couple hours of angling adventure. This marked the second year of this tradition, and this fishing expedition surpassed all expectations!
Over the course of just two hours, the group reeled in an impressive array of fish: multiple bluegill, a vibrant green sunfish, a robust largemouth bass, a sizable crappie, and a mammoth channel catfish, expertly hooked by Will Combs, earning him the coveted catch of the day title!
This memorable outing wouldn't have been possible without the generous support of the Carlisle Community and Carlisle Local Schools. Thanks to their donations, the Fishing Club continues to thrive, creating opportunities for unforgettable experiences like this one, showcasing the spirit of giving and camaraderie that defines our community.
