CARLISlE, OH -- Carlisle bowling is making waves—and history—on both sides of the lanes. Congratulations to our Varsity Boys and Girls Bowling Teams on two outstanding postseason performances that showcase the continued dominance of Carlisle bowling.
Boys Bowling Sectional Champions
The Boys Bowling Team traveled to Rollhouse Lanes to compete in the OHSAA Sectional Tournament and delivered an impressive showing. Competing against 12 teams, the boys finished as Sectional Champions, continuing their hot streak at exactly the right time.
Leading the way were Greyson Garland and Wil Elbrecht, who finished as the #1 and #3 individual bowlers overall. This victory marks a major milestone—the first time a Carlisle bowling team has advanced to Districts as a team. The boys will compete next Wednesday in the OHSAA District Tournament.
Girls Bowling Makes School History
Not to be outdone, the Varsity Girls Bowling Team also etched their names into the record books, becoming the first-ever Carlisle girls bowling team to advance to the District Finals. The girls showed incredible grit, teamwork, and determination, rallying together to finish 5th overall and earn their spot at districts.
Their next challenge takes place at BeaverVu Lanes, where they’ll compete on the district stage and proudly represent Carlisle.
Two teams. One program. History in the making.
Let’s show our support as these student-athletes continue their postseason runs and chase even more milestones.
Go Carlisle!
