Greetings from Franklin City Schools!

Students have been working hard both in the classrooms and remotely for two weeks; we're gratified that the year is going smoothly. Students have adjusted well to the new safety requirements and we appreciate their maturity and cooperation with new procedures. Our fall sports teams are back in action and other exracurricuuars are gearing up, including plans for the FHS fall play, Radium Girls. Watch for details about the performances, Nov. 12-15.

FCS has several new teachers/staff members this year. We're excited to welcome them to the Wildcat family!

Michelle Meeks is the new psychologist at Franklin Junior High and Pennyroyal. Tiffany Hackney joins the district as the new psychologist at the ECC. Chistopher McLachlan is a speech language pathologist who will serve students at Anthony Wayne, the Junior High, and High School. Megan McClung is the new speech language pathologist at Hunter, Schenck, and the ECC. Erin Janecko is teaching physical science and biology at FHS and Erica Bell is teaching art at FHS.

Franklin Junior High has a number of new staff members: Andrew King is the new guidance counselor; Allyson McGuire is teaching English/Language Arts; Rebecca Sanders is teaching math; Latrice Behymer is teaching Spanish; and Carolyn Kennedy is teaching music.
Candace Parsons is teaching 6th grade language arts at Hunter and Cassandra Smith is teaching 4th grade at Schenck.

If you'd like to read more about new staff members, see our district Facebook page and look for the "Meet a Wildcat" posts.
