Grand Openings Generate Close To $8,000 To Local Mason Charity

MASON, OH -- Mason charity Shine Like Sable received almost $8,000 in donations last weekend when Cincinnati-based Tire Discounters, the country’s largest 100% family-owned and operated tire and service provider, and sister company Carriage House Car Wash, celebrated joint grand openings.

The Shine Like Sable Foundation was created after Sable Paige Gibson passed away on February 20, 2019 after suffering cardiac arrest resulting from strep throat and influenza. "Although she was taken from her loved ones too soon, the eternal light in her heart continues to shine bright through all the lives she has touched," reads the Shine Like Sable Our Story web page.

Over the weekend, more than 3,500 customers joined in the celebrations at the neighboring businesses, on Kings Mills Road in Mason. Carriage House Car Wash provided 2,050 free car washes, and families enjoyed food trucks, balloon animals, and even a visit from Tire Discounters' iconic Phantom Tire Buyer.

This is the first location where the two businesses are open to serve customers side-by-side with Tire Disounters at 5241 King Mills Rd and Carriage House Car Wash at 5251 Kings Mills.
