FRANKLIN, OH -- The Franklin Area Historical Society has a full slate of events for the last half of 2024.
- Sunday, July 28, 2 p.m., Harding Museum. Concert on the lawn: Roberts Brothers Band. Free event.
- Sunday, July 28, Harding Museum. FAHS will begin collecting books for a used book sale fundraiser.
- Sunday, August 11, 4 p.m., Deardoff Senior Center. FAHS Annual Trivia event, $25 pp. Ticketed event, fundraiser. Call for info: 937.746.8295. Register online. Event sponsor: Buddy’s Garden. Details: Light snacks will be provided. Team size: two to seven, please. Prizes for the winning teams, plus lots of laughs. First, second, and third place prizes TBA. Please pre-register by August 9. All proceeds support the operation of the Harding Museum and Log Post Office. Register online with a credit card, or mail a check to FAHS, 302 Park Ave., Franklin.

- Saturday and Sunday, October 26 and 27, Harding Museum. Halloween Murder Mystery events: $25 pp. Sat 7 to 9 p.m.; Sun. 2 to 4 p.m. Deadline Oct. 7. Limited to 18 persons each session and preregistration is mandatory. Fundraising event. Event sponsor: Anderson Funeral Home.
