FRANKLIN, OH -- On February 18, 2026, at approximately 2:34 p.m., the Franklin Division of Police was requested to assist the Warren County Sheriff’s Office regarding a burglary in progress on Kenny Lane in Franklin Township. The suspect was reported to be leaving the area in a grey Kia sedan.
A Franklin officer located the vehicle traveling westbound on Fourth Street and attempted a traffic stop. The driver fled, and a pursuit was initiated.
During the pursuit, officers utilized precision immobilization techniques (PIT), ultimately bringing the vehicle to a stop in the City of Middletown.The driver, identified as Zachary Clary, was taken into custody without further incident. Clary had an active warrant through Franklin Municipal Court and is additionally being charged with Failure to Comply with the Order or Signal of a Police Officer, a felony of the third degree.
