LEBANON, OH -- Enjoy the scenic views of five private gardens, along with the gardens of Glendower Historical Mansion and the newly reconstructed Beedle Log Cabin, in this year's Lebanon Garden Tour. Within this year's picturesque gardens are:
- Two ponds that feature native plants, vegetables, roses and shade gardens
- Two reconstructed log cabins
- Some cows and alpacas, which help make this year’s tour very unique
The tour, which is self guided, comes with a map and directions that can be picked up at the Lebanon Train Station, on the days of the event. To get a map, bring your Voucher Ticket in, which you can purchase through the Warren County Historical Society, or after purchasing a ticket at the station on the day you plan to attend. Children 12 and under are FREE.
Proceeds from the tour help maintain the building and grounds of the Lebanon Train Station, which was built and is maintained by the Lebanon Council of Garden Clubs, Inc.
While it is a driving tour, there are some locations within walking distance from the Train Station. The Garden Tour is from 11 am to 5 pm on both June 25 and 26... RAIN OR SHINE. Also, tours to view the inside of Glendower on the days of the tour may be purchased with the Garden Tour ticket.
