WARREN COUNTY, OH -- Warren County, Ohio's Board of Elections records show that out of the 179,782 registered voters in Warren County, 13,961 ballots were cast for the May 6, 2025 Special Election. This was a 7.8 percent voter turnout for the county that had the majority of its voters vote "yes" to Issue 2. ( 8,384 YES to 5,401 NO)
This issue is an amendment to the Ohio Constitution that allows funding of public infrastructure capital improvements by permitting the issuance of general obligation bonds.
CARLISLE — SK Food Mart, LLC in Carlisle was given a yes vote to be given a permit to sell wine and mixed beverages on Sunday. ( 19 YES to 17 NO)
HAMILTON TOWNSHIP — Kroger at 148 E. Towne Center Blvd. was given a yes vote to be given a permit to sell wine and mixed beverages on Sunday. (72 YES to 9 NO)
MASSIE TOWNSHIP — The Massie Twp. Fire Levy Renewal passed with over 62 percent of the votes saying yes to a 1 mill levy for 5 years. (210 FOR to 126 AGAINST)
CLINTON MASSIE LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICT — Both Warren County residents and Clinton County residents approved a 5 year, 1 percent income tax. (1,464 FOR to 1,185 AGAINST)
PRINCETON CITY SCHOOL — Even though more Butler County residents voted against the levy (127 against to 111 for), the levy passed with both Warren and Hamilton counties voters saying yes to a 10 year, 6.61 mills levy. (532 FOR to 466 AGAINST)
MIDPOINTE LIBRARY — Voters in both Warren and Butler counties serviced by the Midpoint Library District voted to approve a replacement levy of .75 mills for 5 years. (8,456 FOR to 4,409 AGAINST)
CITY OF FRANKLIN — The Franklin Fire Levy Additional Tax failed by 145 votes. (912 AGAINST to 767 FOR the levy)
HARVEYSBURG POLICE LEVY — The Harvesuburg Police Levy failed by just 4 votes. (75 AGAINST to 71 FOR the levy)
HARLAN TOWNSHIP — The Harlan Township Fire Additional Tax levy failed by 15 votes. (470 AGAINST to 455 FOR)
FRANKLIN CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT — Over 65 percent of the school district residents were against an additional 5 year, 6.301 mills levy. (2,207 AGAINST to 1,148 FOR)
