Unofficial Results are in for the August 2, 2022 Special Primary

WARREN COUNTY, OH -- The unofficial election results are in for the August 2, 2022 special primary election. (Back in May on Columbus Channel 4 Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose said this special election could cost the state $20 million – $25 million.) 

Voter turnout for Warren County was 9.2%. Out of the 170,191 registered voters in Warren County 15,657 ballots were cast.

  • 12,076 - Early Voting 
  • 1,633 - Mail Ballots 
  • 1,948 - Cast at Precinct Polling Place

The unofficial results are:

State Central Committee 7th District

MAN

DEM: William Gallagher - 100%

REP: Ron Magg - 41.87%

  • Seth A. Morgan - 35.38%; Steven R. Thomas - 14.69%; Dawson L Smith - 8.06%

        WOMAN

        DEM: Bonnie Dunkelman - 100%

        REP: Michelle G. Schneider - 54.54%

        • Lori Viars - 45.46%

        State Senator District 7

        DEM: David Dallas - 100%

        REP: Steve Wilson - 97.96%

        • Write-In 2.04%

        State Rep 55th District

        DEM: Paul Zorn - 100%

        REP: Scott Lipps - 69.03%

        • Thomas Goodwin - 30.97%

        State Rep 56th District

        DEM: Joy Bennett  - 70.53

        • Sam Coa - 29.47

        REP: Adam Mathews - 53.95

        • Kathy Grossmann 46.05
