WARREN COUNTY PARK DISTRICT, OH -- While summer activities at Warren County Parks are wrapping up, fall activities are just beginning. Currently, FWCPD (Friends of Warren County Park District) has scheduled events at two of the county's 19 parks for the 2022 fall season.
Landen-Deerfield Park
September 10th starts The 2022 Fall Concert Series at Landen-Deerfield Park in Deerfield Township. The Fall Series, which is backed by FWCPD, has planned free Saturday concerts at park’s amphitheater.
- 9/10: BLUE ROCK "Blending classic rock, blues, country and bluegrass into a great show experience!"
- 9/24: NEW BREW "An acoustic rock trio from Cincinnati, playing music from the 50's to present!"
- 10/8: ABE'S LINCOLN "Bringing the most popular feel-good songs from the MTV era and beyond to a stage near you!"
Along with the three concerts, family-friendly activities have been planned and Marco's Pizza will be on hand to sell refreshments, noted Warren County Park District's Naturalist Shannon Russell Pennington.
“Community events will vary by date and will include live reptiles, monarch butterflies, ‘kindness rocks’, decorating, craft, fishing clinics, meet-n-greets with local heroes, martial arts demos, activities with local community organizations and more,” explained Pennington.
The free community activities will run from 4:30 pm - 7:00 pm, while the free live music will go from 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm.

Hisey Park
Hisey Park will be the site for more family friendly fall activities during its Hisey Fall Festival. On Saturday, October 1 from 11 am to 5 pm, the park will be filled with these activities:
- Free Pumpkin Picking (one per child)
- Pumpkin Decorating
- 4-H Petting Zoo
- Live Reptiles
- Antique Farm Equipment
- Scavenger Hunt
- Hayrides
- Warren County Astronomical Society
- Hiking to the Scenic Overlook
- Warren County Master Gardeners
- Civil War Reenactors
- Live Cannon Fire
- Food Truck
- Taxidermy Animals
