LEBANON, OH -- The Ohio Development Services Agency and Warren County Community Services Inc, (WCCS) Community Assistance Program will assist income-eligible Ohioans with a one-time payment with a households primary and/or secondary heating source with a disconnection, shut-off, need to establish new service, need to pay to transfer service, have a PIPP default, need to pay first PIPP, or have 25% or less of bulk fuel/propane. This program runs from Nov.4, 2024-March 31, 2025
To qualify for assistance, Ohioans must have a gross income at or below 175 percent of the Federal Poverty Guidelines for a family of up to seven members, and 60 percent of the State Median Income for a family of eight or more members. For a family of four, the annual income must be at or below $54,600.
To apply for the program, clients are required to schedule an appointment with Warren County Community Services, Inc., Community Assistance, emergency HEAP. Appointments can be scheduled by calling 513-970-6737 or online at https://wccs.itfrontdesk.com
Clients need to bring copies of the following documents to their appointment:
- Copies of their most recent energy bills.
- A list of all household members and proof of income for the last 30 days or 12 months for each member 18 and over.
- Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal residency for all household members.
- Proof of disability (if applicable).
- Lease signed and dated or statement from the landlord with name, address, and phone number
- Warren Metropolitan Housing Authority worksheet/HUD worksheet (if applicable)
- SNAP benefit letter (if applicable)
