WARREN COUNTY, OH -- State Representative Adam Mathews (R-Lebanon) attended the White House State Leadership Conference last week alongside more than 50 Ohio lawmakers and other officials. The conference was organized by the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs to foster collaboration and communication between federal, state and local governments, while providing a forum to discuss shared priorities, policies, and more.
“Thank you to the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs for the incredibly productive visit,” said Mathews. “With Secretary Kennedy giving an overview of cleaning up Medicaid fraud, EPA Administrator Zeldin on being good stewards of the environment while promoting growth, and Secretary Lutnick on building an economy for all Americans, it was amazing to learn and ask questions in such an open setting.”
Rep. Mathews had the opportunity to discuss Ohio’s priorities with senior officials in the Trump Administration, including Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick, EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin and Secretary of Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
