LEBANON, OH — Zac Haines, a business CEO and Miami University Trustee, has received the endorsement of former U.S. Representative Jim Renacci. Renacci, who was also the Republican nominee for U.S. Senate in 2018, praised Haines as a political outsider and proven businessman
“Zac Haines is a small business owner, not a career politician. He cares about results, not rhetoric, and he will make decisions with future generations in mind, not future elections. If voters in Warren and Hamilton Counties want meaningful change, I encourage them to elect a political outsider and proven businessman, Zac Haines, to the Ohio State Senate, District 7.”
Upon receiving the endorsement, Haines remarked, “Jim has been a longtime friend and someone I admire for both his private sector success and his accomplished record of public service as both a Mayor and U.S. Representative for Ohio’s 16 th congressional district. I’m very thankful for his support.”
Haines, who currently serves as CEO of DPA Buying Group, was nominated by President Donald J. Trump during his first term. He is running to succeed State Senator Steve Wilson, who is term-limited. Ohio's 7th Senate District covers all of Warren County and northeastern Hamilton County, with the election set for May 5, 2026.
In addition to Jim Renacci, Haines has earned the endorsements of several prominent figures, including U.S. Representative Warren Davidson, former U.S. Representatives Steve Chabot, Brad Wenstrup, Bob McEwen, Ohio State Treasurer Robert Sprague, and many elected officials across Warren and Hamilton Counties.
